A 42 year old semi-truck driver was involved in an accident with another semi-truck on an interstate highway in Ohio, resulting in the amputation of his leg below the knee.  The insurance company for the at-fault driver paid its $1,000,000 insurance policy limits shortly after we filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
