Burbank is a small industrial corridor city in Cook County in the state of Illinois. The estimated population is 27,902 residents. It is a total of 4.2 miles, all of which is land. It is located south and west of the city of Chicago.
During the late 1920s, Burbank became an attractive site for real-estate developers. The farmland was sold and subdivisions were built in their place.
