Our client represented the estate of a woman (age 79 years old) at the time of the malpractice.  She suffered serious brain damage when she was having surgery to install a tacheostomy tube to allow for us with a mechanical ventilator.  As a result, she was unable to speak, get out of bed or have any meaningful life for the last 13 months of her life until her death.
