A 72 year old who worked for nearly 40 years in an automotive brake manufacturing plant was diagnosed with mesothelioma. The exposure to asbestos in the plant for nearly 40 years caused the mesothelioma, a deadly disease of the lungs. He died about three months after diagnosis. A settlement of his case was reached less than one year after the lawsuit was filed resulting in a settlement of $3,100,000.
