Robert S. Hirsch received his Juris Doctor degree at Washington University School of Law in Saint Louis, Missouri. Mr. Hirsch specialized in the law school's trial curriculum and received top marks in several courses including the highest grade in his class in Legal Ethics which earned him a CALI Award. Mr. Hirsch received an academic scholarship and was presented with the Scholar in Law Award and the Don Sommers Award in Professional Responsibility. Mr. Hirsch served as a Senior Editor on one of Washington University's law journals: the Jurisprudence Review. He received his Bachelor of Arts at Kenyon College.
During law school, Mr. Hirsch gained experience as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge William D. Stiehl of the United States District Court of Southern Illinois. Mr. Hirsch also interned for the Federal Public Defender's Office in the Southern District and interned for Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts in Saint Louis.
Prior to joining Nemeroff Law Offices, Mr. Hirsch worked for two prestigious personal injury law firms in the Chicagoland area. Mr. Hirsch focuses his practice in personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death actions, transportation liability, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, premises liability, nursing home abuse claims and work injuries. He is always working tirelessly to get the best results for his clients in difficult times. Mr. Hirsch has recovered substantial sums for harmed individuals and families via trial, arbitration, mediation, and settlement.
Robert Hirsch stays active in Chicago by playing basketball in Lincoln Park and volleyball at North Avenue beach in the summer. He enjoys walking through Lincoln Park Zoo and The Art Institute of Chicago with family and friends.
