David Nemeroff was voted one of the Top 100 Lawyers in the entire state of Illinois (out of 83,000 lawyers) by Super Lawyers Magazine. David Nemeroff has been selected for many years as an Illinois Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters (Westlaw) and Chicago Magazine. Super Lawyers honors the top 5% of Illinois lawyers in their particular area of specialty. Mr. Nemeroff has also been selected as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer in Illinois by the National Trial Lawyers Association. The Law Bulletin Publishing Company has chosen him as a "Leading Lawyer" in Illinois in the areas of personal injury and medical malpractice. He has established himself as one of the top Chicago and Illinois personal injury, wrongful death and medical malpractice lawyers in Chicago and Illinois.

A graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law, Mr. Nemeroff became an attorney after suffering his own serious injuries when he was hit head-on by a drunk driver. He attended law school while recovering from his serious injuries. After graduating law school, he worked for two prestigious plaintiff's personal injury firms before founding Nemeroff Law Offices. Mr. Nemeroff's own experience puts him in a unique position of truly understanding his client's experiences when seriously injured.

David Nemeroff has extensive trial experience, having tried over seventy five (75) jury trials involving personal injury, wrongful death and medical malpractice. He has also been involved in thousands of settlements of personal injury, wrongful death cases, workers' compensation and medical malpractice cases. He has dedicated his career to representing persons or families who have been harmed in personal injury, medical malpractice and wrongful death actions. Overall, these cases have resulted in more than $250,000,000 dollars in settlement and verdicts.

David Nemeroff has extensive experience as a trial lawyer and has handled many cases that have gone to Illinois Appellate Courts and the Federal 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. His work in the case of Buckner vs. Causey, a published Illinois appellate court decision, is frequently cited in dozens of other cases by lawyers throughout the state. In another published opinion, the First District Appellate Court reversed an incorrect ruling by a trial judge, established new law on that issue that greatly benefited our client's case.  His appellate work in Fenton vs. City of Chicago preserved a $2,133,333 million dollar verdict for our client.

Many of Mr. Nemeroff's cases have been covered by the Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Daily Law Bulletin, NBC News, Fox News and CNN. Mr. Nemeroff has appeared on various television and radio programs, including Chicago Tonight, Fox News, and CNN.

Public service is an important part of David Nemeroff's life.  David Nemeroff has been extensively involved in fighting drinking and driving for over thirty (30) years, speaking for MADD, teaching their victim advocates and previously serving on the Board of Directors for the Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists (AAIM). David Nemeroff previously served on the board of the Welles Park Parent Association, the organization that runs Welles Park Youth Baseball, the largest youth baseball program in the city of Chicago with over 1,600 kids playing baseball every year. In addition, Mr. Nemeroff was elected to and served a two-year term on the Local School Council at Alexander Graham Bell School in Chicago, one of the top K-8 schools in the city. He was the chairman of the school's budget committee. Currently, he serves on the board of directors of the Neighborhood Boys and Girls Club in Chicago and is on the Executive and Finance committees.

David Nemeroff lives in the city of Chicago with his family. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, doing volunteer work and following Chicago's sports teams.
