A fire at an apartment complex run by a not for profit organization for at-risk risk youth resulted in smoke inhalation injures to our clients, a mother and daughter. This premises liability case was premised on the theory that the not for profit organization failed to properly supervise the at risk youth who started the fire, resulting to injury to our clients who lived above his apartment. As a result of the accident, our clients suffered smoke inhalation injuries which required hospitalization. The case settled for $880,000.
