A 65 year old woman was shopping in Sears with her husband when she slipped and fell on a clothing rack that had been left by a Sears employee hidden from sight except for the bottom, which struck out into the clothing display walkway. Our client tripped and fell on the rack bottom, causing her to fall hard to the ground, injuring her back. We were able to obtain a videotape of the incident, which showed everything. The case settled with Sears for $260,000.
