A 13 yr old boy was a passenger on a Chicago Transit Authority bus. The bus stopped at a CTA transfer station. The boy got off the bus and was pinned between two CTA buses, causing him to suffer a severe fracture of his femur. The case settled for $1,250,000. This settlement was the largest settlement of a fractured femur injury case involving a minor in the entire history of personal injury settlements in the state of Illinois.
